Highlights:
- The On the 70th Anniversary of the celebrated 1953 Le Mans race win where the Jaguar C-type finished first, second and fourth, Bremont introduces a new iteration of its original C-type watch, celebrating both the aluminium chassis of the iconic race-winner, while evocatively nodding to the innovation and beauty of the 1951 original.
- Designed by British Jaguar car designer, aerodynamicist and artist Malcolm Sawyer, the C-type was famed for its exceptionally fluid shape, and as with previous Bremont Jaguar timepieces, the Bremont Jaguar C-type draws inspiration from the car’s classic shape and design features.
- The monochrome 43mm Jaguar C-type chronograph is a contemporary take on a motoring classic and adds to Bremont’s Motorsport Collection.
- The chronograph hand inspired by the needle seen on the C-type tachometer.
- The movement consists of a Modified Calibre 13 1/4’’' BE-50AV, 27 Jewels, Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex mainspring, 28,800bph (4Hz) with a 56-hour power reserve.
- The steel Trip-Tick® case construction with scratch resistant PVD treated case middle is completed by its bi-directional rotating tachymeter ring with the brushed finish a visual nod to the famous disc brake of the C-type, famous as it was the first ever race car to use this pioneering technology that is still used today.
- The bi-directional rotating bezel has brushed stainless steel bezel insert with tachymeter markers.
- The crown is a Dunlop tyre inspired screw down crown with a pair of screw down chronograph pushers.
- Other features of this watch include, central hour/minute, chronograph centre sweep seconds hand, small seconds counter at 9 hour, chronograph 30 minutes counter at 3 Hour and the date at 6 hour.
- The black metal multi-level dial incorporates Bremont's classic raised central section with a debossed Jaguar Heritage logo.
- The white sub dials at 3 hour and 9 hour have fine CD lines, framed with polished nickel rings.
- A red accent on 9 hour sub dial inspired by Smiths gauges.
- Matte black hour and minute hands filled with Super-LumiNova® (Blue emission).
- Domed anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire crystal
- The strap is a black leather racing strap fitted witha stainless-steel pin buckle.
- Water resistant to 200 metres.
